Dr. Brooke Herron - Veterinarian & Medical Director

Dr. Herron is a Lowcountry native who first joined Bees Ferry Veterinary Hospital in 2003 as a veterinary nurse. After five years, she left to attend the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and returned in 2013 to begin practicing as a veterinarian.

Her passion lies in teaching and leadership. She has served as an adjunct professor in the Trident Technical College Veterinary Technician Program, where she was invited to be the keynote speaker for several years. She has also provided continuing education opportunities to the veterinary community and was honored with a national “WAG” Award for her dedication to teamwork.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Herron enjoys kayaking, live music, spending time outdoors, and studying Russian. She has a twin sister, a brother, and two beloved dogs, Bunnie and Professor.
