Mission Statement At Bees Ferry Veterinary Hospital we strive to provide your pet with the comprehensive and integrated health care that we would want for our own pets. |
We employ a well trained team of certified veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants and front desk staff. Our veterinarians and team provide life-long care for your pets. We begin with adoption/selection counseling, move on to vaccination and training, help you with any problems along the way, and finally, we provide extensive preventive medicine and geriatric care as your pet ages. Our state of the art surgical facilities, diagnostic equipment and in-house laboratory allow us to handle medical emergencies and chronic problems from 7am-9pm on weekdays and 7am-1pm on Saturdays.
In order to provide complete integrative care, Holley Cone, DVM, CVA, AVCA offers acupuncture, herbal consults and chiropractic adjustments. These services can be used as the sole method or treatment or as an adjunct to conventional medicine.
We also love pocket pets and reptiles. We can help you detect early problems in these unusual creatures and help you set up an appropriate habitat. If he or she (and we can often help you determine this) has any medical problems, we offer blood work, x-rays and other diagnostic services for these pets as well.
It is the little extras, like behavioral counseling, pet loss support, rehabilitation and weight loss programs that make us special. Don't hesitate to ask us how we can help your pet with his or her special needs.
Bees Ferry Veterinary Hospital is a Wildlife Admitting Center. This means that local citizens can bring us sick, injured or abandoned wildlife. We diagnose and treat their problems and then release them to a certified wildlife rehabilitator in the local area for continued care and eventual release to the wild. While we do not accept payment for the treatment of these unique patients, we do accept donations to help defer the cost of their treatment and medications.
